A delicious ramen shop in Sendagaya, Tokyo

First generation

Located five minutes walk from Sendagaya station, the Hopeken ramen shop was established in 1960. Originally, the shop was a small food cart.
We received advice from customers as we served bowls of ramen, and through their support developed ramen that is beloved today.
The flavor of our pork and soy sauce soup made using back fat has been inherited from our time as a food cart.
Due to our proximity to Jingu Stadium and the New National Stadium, we are also frequented by sports fans after events.
Our first floor is standing style, while the second and third floors have tables and can cater for groups.

Please come and enjoy this unique, long-standing tonkotsu shoyu ramen that is beloved by Japanese people.
There is a shop in front of the National Stadium which is the 2020 Olympic venue.

Ramen is so popular with Japanese people, it wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that it’s Japan’s national food.

Originally a Chinese noodle dish, ramen has evolved and developed over time in Japan to become a completely unique dish today.
